- As of 8/14, Lifetime has yanked "thirtysomething" from the air to make room for its new fall lineup. Make your feelings known in our fan forum.
- Added some new links, including a downloadable sound clip of the "thirtysomething" theme.
- Issued "last call" for fan questions to be included in an upcoming second-round interview with Joseph Dougherty.
July, 1998
- The "thirtysomething scrapbook" mailing list is finally established. Check out our fan forum for information on how to subscribe.
- The official e-mail address for this website is changed to thirtysomething@thirdstory.com.
June, 1998
- The site goes on another brief hiatus. No updates are made.
May, 1998
- Contact with "thirtysomething" writer/director Joseph Dougherty is established and he graciously agrees to be interviewed about his involvement with the show.
- Lifetime finishes airing the final season episodes and 'rolls over' to the first season again. Our link to their "thirtysomething" pages is corrected after a major overhaul of their site.
March, 1998 - April, 1998
A few minor corrections are made to the episode guide.

February, 1998
- The site officially re-debuts on 2/2/98 after a long hiatus, just in time to coincide with the return of the show to Lifetime.
January, 1998
Word comes from Lifetime that it will return "thirtysomething" to the air beginning 2/2/98.
A substantial revision of the site is undetaken, including the addition of a guestbook, updates to the cast & characters section, and new links, as well as several other cosmetic changes.
May, 1997 - December, 1997
The site goes on an extended hiatus while the show off the air. No updates are made, but e-mail from fans is still answered.
April, 1997
Disaster strikes! As of 4/14/97, Lifetime television has removed "thirtysomething" from it's late-night rotation! Voice your disappointment at this move in our fan forum.
A few minor revisions are made and some enhanced graphics are added.
The "Awards" page is greatly improved, thanks to Lisa Stevenson.
The "SNL parody" page is added.
March, 1997
The site gets a makeover, including many minor cosmetic changes and a few additions. The "what's new" page is added as well as an acknowledgements page. The underlying structure of the site is also overhauled.
February, 1997
Lisa Stevenson is contacted about mirroring her extensive episode data here. A target period of late-April or May is tentatively scheduled.
The link destinations of Piper Jackson's articles at McGill apparently vanish. Attempts to contact Piper via e-mail go unanswered.
January, 1997
Links are established with Kai Seidler's site in Germany. Kai also provides us with the Steadman House floorplan.
Links to Piper Jackson's "thirtysomething" articles at McGill University are added.
December, 1996
The site is first made available to Web users on December 1st, but remains in a 'beta' stage of development as construction continues.
The initial incarnation of the episode guide is completed.

Principal construction of this site is undertaken, inspired by the frustrating lack of good resources available to fans of "thirtysomething" on the Web.
